I interviewed Zaha once...</title><content type='html'>fascinating stuff, Kirsty. I interviewed Zaha once for a book, and she does bubble with energy and self-belief. But I think it&amp;#39;s unlikely she&amp;#39;d like to see her buildings graffitied. I love what the local kids have done to the South Bank undercroft; the problem with brutalist architecture is that it is, all to often, brutal and inhuman, so I&amp;#39;m no fan. And, I must admit, every time I see 60s and early 70s commercial and domestic architecture dominating a high street, I experience a deepening desire to steal a bulldozer and go for a drive...
